La lapide fu realizzata da Fabio Goldschmied e posta nel cimitero ebraico di Pittsburgh in memoria della madre Ada Frankel in Goldschmied e del fratello Livio Goldschmied, entrambi deportati.
Su di essa si legge la scritta in inglese: "In loving memory of Ada Goldschmied and her son Livio Goldschmied from Trieste, Italy Auschwitz-1944 by the family"
